Good evening, i need information of Boiler walk-down list( For THERMAL POWER PLANT)
Top 16 Annual/periodic maintenance points for thermopack boiler
Top 16 Annual/periodic maintenance points for thermopack boiler
Today we discussed about very important topic which is Annual/periodic maintenance of thermopack boiler related to thermopack boiler .now these days thermopack boiler demands increase day by day because of its great verities in operation like it’s operation is very easily a normal person can handle it’s operation easily, during installation it cover very small area, maintenance cost is very low as compared to other big unit. It’s operation efficiency is greater than other big heating units. In this topic Annual/periodic maintenance of thermopack boiler we discussed during annual or periodic maintenance what care should be taken and what the procedure we should follow during conducting a maintenance job .
Care to be taken during for annual / periodic maintenance of thermopack boiler –
1 Before entering into the furnace for maintenance, care should be taken to vent out all the flue gases by running the blowers. Before entering the furnace ensure that the oil and electrical supply to the instruments is disconnected and the furnace is cooled to ambient temperature.
2.All electrical supply should be switched off and maintenance staff should insure that no electrical supply is available at the equipment by :-
Switching of mains supply
b. removing the fuses / switching off the MCBS
c. removing the cables from terminal strips
d. Put shutdown board on equipment control
e. Introduced work permit system and record on logbook
3. Ensure proper earthling of all the electrical equipment.
4. Maintenance staff should use proper tools and tackles safety shoes, Helmets, safety belts, etc wherever applicable.
5. Do not use nylon / polyester clothes during the operation and maintenance of the boiler / Heaters
6. Use lather hand gloves while working on hot surfaces.
7. If more than one unit is connected to one common duct / chimney, ensure that the flue gas duct of the unit under maintenance is removed / disconnected from the main flue gas duct or chimney.
8.Before opening the pressure part of the boiler/ heater ensure that the pressure is released completely and the air vent valve full open and ensure that is no discharged of vapor from the air vent line. Also ensure that the water / heating medium have cooled down to ambient temperature.
9.None of these safeties and control should be bypassed during operation of the unit.
10. The fuel storage formalities and safety precautions given in instruction manual should be followed.
11. Pressure part of the furnace should not be taken for maintenance before 24 hours (minimum ) from the time of shut down. The fastest cooling is harmful to the pressure part and furnace.
12.The boiler house should be kept free from spillage of water / oil.
13. Hot surfaces should be insulated properly.
14. Use only genuine spare parts for the safety of units.
15. All the user’s operational and maintenance personal should make sure that during installation, operation and maintenance personal should make sure that during boiler and heaters regulations under boiler Act, Factory Act , Fire Insurance and Explosive Act , Pollution Control Act are strictly adhered to.
16. All the safeties precautions mentioned above and also in the product instruction manuals are to be strictly followed by the users as well as authorized personal.
